The Vinyl record is a carryable item that can be found on a table in the Nightclub in Midtown.
If picked up and placed on Dj matcee's turntable, it can be scratched for the Scratch achievement.
There is also a "Gold" version of the same record, hanging on the wall.
The song "Ugly Megamix" from the game soundtrack is recorded on this record.

ALL RIGHTS, COPYING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND PUBLIC BROADCASTING OF THIS RECORD IS PHOHIBITED 01011000 YR. 2084 DAISUKE 34000.1 A 01000001 . 01011001 01000010 . 01000101 01001111 . 01001110 WITH LOVE
Gold version[]
The black labels of the gold version (which is not visible ingame, as the disc is hung on the wall and is not interactible), differs in two ways.
- Instead of "DAISUKE" in the game's Primary alphabet, it has the typo "DQISUKE", which is the kind of typo one would expect when switching between qwerty and azerty keyboards.
- Also, the middle row of binary values is "01000101 . 01010010" ("E.R") instead of "01000010 . 01000101" ("B.E")
References[]
There are likely to be multiple references in this label, but none have been identified.
- Daisuke is a Japanese male name, which can mean a number of different things depending on the kanji characters it is written with. It is not a name listed in the credits.
- The binary values are the ASCII codes for X, A.Y, B.E, O.N - which could be read as X AYBEON or X ABOYEN - but the meaning of these is not obvious. The letter pairs are not initials listed in the credits. Aybeon is apparently Urdu for "defects"; Aboyen is Spanish for "marked with buoys". Both are a stretch. On the gold record, these are instead AYERON or AEOYRN, which again don't have any obvious meaning.
- The track names (The futur is now, My mom was a LED, I miss you tonight, Forgotten story) don't match up to any identifiable songs. Various artists have written songs called "The futur is now", but none leap out as an obvious reference.
- The text YR 2084 could be a reference to a year, which may be relevant to the Timeline... but it could be an album about that year, which then tells us nothing.
