The logo of the outsiders
The Outsiders are the Companions of who are willing to go to The Outside at any cost. The Outsiders consist of Momo, Doc, Zbaltazar, and Clementine. At the end of the game, the cat is presumed to join as well. Their logo is a sad face, sometimes with crying or bleeding eyes, usually depicted in white and blue colors.
Outsiders lived on the upper floors of the Slums. They kept their notes about the Outside in their Notebooks. Most of the companions, unlike them, did not believe in the existence of the Outside or simply did not try to get out of the City. When Doc went to a Dead End, and Zbaltazar and Clementine went to the Antvillage through the Sewers, only Momo stayed in the Slums, and stopped looking for a way up until the Cat came.
Outsiders are known not only at the Lower, but also at the Upper Level - for example, graffiti in Midtown says: "To hell with the Sentinels; Long lives the Outsiders". Perhaps Clementine or her friends made it. In the game you can also see many companions, living (some Background characters) and dead, who tried to go to the Dead City or to the Upper Level, but their attempts were unsuccessful.

- Clementine: a brave girl who managed to get to the Upper Level and was put on the wanted list; she was developing a plan to use the train to get to the Control Room
- Doc: a scientist who developed a weapon against Zurks that would allow Outsiders to get out of the Slums
- Zbaltazar: the wisest Outsider participant; after traveling through the Sewers, he remained to meditate in the Anvillage, although he misses his friends
- Momo: the last one to join the Outsiders who stayed in the Slums and then helped the Cat get into the Sewers
- Cat and B-12: "little Outsider" and his drone friend, the main characters of Stray who help other Outsiders during the game
The Outsiders Manifesto[]
The manifesto was written by Clementine in Momo's Notebook. It says:

Trivia[]
- In the game's files, there is an image for the Rebels Logo. This might be an earlier name of the Outsiders from development. Viv's hand seems to have this logo, and the Midtown Graffiti of the Outsiders is also called "Rebel logo".
- Initially, librarian Jess was planned to be one of the Outsiders, but in the process of creating the game, she was replaced by Doc, but his notebook is still called "/NAME_LOOT_BOOKJESS" in the game files.
- Momo says: "I can't believe it, Zbaltazar is alive! He and the other Outsiders managed to go up through the sewers?" It is not known if this is a typo, or if someone else went there with Zbaltazar and Clementine.
