Midtown Hologram is located at the central junction of Midtown and consists of two parts, the Hologram and the Ads. The Hologram is at street level and shows holographic images of Companions, changing depending on the Cat's progress. The Ads is a structure above the hologram, holding up TV screens showing certain Ads. Strangely, the whole structure is not attached to anything and just levitates.
The central Midtown square itself leads to various streets of Midtown, and it is patrolled by an unnamed Peacemaker.
During the passage of the Chapter 10: Midtown, the hologram Companion will change, giving the player hints for what to do next:
- Normal companion: During Midtown's first visit.
- Neco corp employee and Atomic Battery: after leaving the Clementine's Midtown apartment.
- Peacemaker: after the theft of the Atomic Battery. He points to the Residence.
- Dancing DJ and Nightclub logo: after the second visit to Clementine's Midtown apartment.
Trivia[]
- If you approach the hologram, you can hear the beeping sounds that are called "Recup_oldvoices" in the game files (see Companion#Voices), and, judging by the name, were originally supposed to be the voices of companions.
- A small hologram similar to this one is located near the sign of a Clothing store.
