The Midtown Elevator is the elevator that leads to the Outside from Midtown and is likely still operational, however, has been disabled. Peacemaker 198 stands outside the entrance, and a Sentinel patrols the area. It is blocked off by a non-lethal laser wall that Cat cannot go through. While not being visible from the ground, it is visible from the Control Room window.
Behind the laser wall there is a road for cars, along which they can drive up to the Midtown Elevator and drive to the Outside on it. There is also a high antenna (or two antennas) on top of the Elevator in the Outside, it can be seen both in the weather forecast on TV and from the Control Room after the opening of the city.
In the TV weather station, it can be seen that a single road leads out of the city from the Midtown elevator (see gallery below).
Slums-Midtown Elevator[]
In Midtown, there is also a part of the Elevator leading out of the Slums. This elevator also does not work, it was closed a long ago: "Access to lower level is restricted due to Organic Life Hazards. Please keep out of this area." There is a place behind the elevator that offers a view of the Lower Level of the city.
