The Guardian is a Companion in the Slums in Stray, who stands just outside the broken Elevator. He stops the Cat and B-12 at the beginning of Chapter 4: The Slums, but after the inspection of the two, he is convinced that the Cat and B-12 are not like the Zurks. He then accepts their stay, turning off the alarm on the condition that they don't eat him and the other Companions.
In Chapter 4: The Slums, after greeting the Cat, he can be found standing near the Elevator, and you can ask him for advice. In Chapter 6: The Slums - Part 2, he practices qigong in the Elevator, and you can still talk to him. At the end of Chapter 7: Dead End, he pets the Cat, thanks him for saving Doc and shows him the way to the Sewers Entrance.
Can be nuzzled.
