Dj matcee is a Companion in Stray who can be found on stage in the Nightclub of Midtown.
- On deactivation of either the holograms in the club, Dj matcee will walk over and reactivate them. If the cat jumps onto them before they turn on, they can be exploited as rising platforms.
Even though their name is mostly in lowercase, a flyer advertises their act as "DJ MatCee Tonight at the Goro² Club!"
Trivia[]
- Their reflective clothing and spherical helmet, like that of their partner on stage, may be a reference to Daft Punk, or to a lesser known act "Disco Ball Heads".
- The DJ robots do have heads within the spheres, and you can see this if you move the camera so that it is obscured by the sphere: the sphere will "fade away", showing the robot's real head under it.
- The name "Matcee" is likely a reference to Mat Carpenter, Additional Software Engineer (Phantom Key).
