- The lampshade on the head is an instance of Lampshade Wearing, similar to Albert in Midtown.
- The lampshade is probably also an allusion to Lampshade Hanging, specifically calling out the improbability and silliness of robot food, even if it is made of electronics and oil.
- There are a number of puns in the food names: RAM (RAMen), CPUs (CPUdon), and RJ45 connectors (RamenJ45).
- Cookime is called Kochzeit (Cooking time) in DE localization and Кукимо (Cookimo) in RU localization.
