The Control Room Subway station is where the Cat begins Chapter 12: Control Room, having ridden up from the Midtown Subway station.
As in Midtown, large doors have sealed the rail exits from the station, so the only way out is up the stairs.
The station also contains the train that the Cat rode to get there, but it cannot be driven further, even though maps on the walls suggest that there is a third subway station beyond.
Helper 477 sweeps the platform. Just up the stairs, Helper 062 tends a plant on a landing, and Helper 211 paints a wall.
Bugs[]
- There is a minor glitch on the leftmost flight of stairs from the station platform. Walking right against the right bannister can make the cat slide up them unusually fast. Speed-runners call this bug "Zoomies" or "Nose slide", depending which orientation the cat is in when this happens.
