Chapter 3: The Flat is a rather short chapter after Chapter 2: Dead City. Cat has reached safety from the Zurks inside an apartment. There is a large computer screen inside and Cat can interact with the keyboard by walking on it. After a while, a door will open to a second room.

Plot[]

Entering the apartment, the cat approaches the keyboard, and on the large monitor B-12 asks him for help. After playing a little with pressing buttons, the cat enters a room with equipment, where he needs to find four electrical boxes to open a secret door. Behind this door is a Sarcophagus and the body of a Companion with a fallen off head. Climbing onto one of the shelves, the cat drops the box of the B-12 drone from it, picks it up and carries it to the terminal.

When activated, B-12 tells the cat that before the cat arrived he accidentally got stuck in the city's Network for several hundred years, and before that he belonged to a Scientist who lived in this apartment. It is likely that the apartment is B-12’s. After that, B-12 shows the cat the Digitizing technology, taking the keys to the inventory, and then puts a special harness on the cat, and the cat dramatically falls on the carpet and cannot walk normally for a while.

B-12 opens the door to the entrance, where they use the Digicode to go outside and see the Elevator to the upper floors of the city in the distance. Going in its direction, they see a mural with the picture of the city on the wall. It seems familiar to the drone, and he decides to pick up a small Postcard with an image of the Outside, which is attached to the wall nearby. Going further, the cat and B-12 frame a sign indicating a Safe Zone, and head there.

Notes[]

  • Use the keys to open the door.
  • Open another door and look in this room for a Digicode to open the exit to the apartment.
