Cat toys are balls that can be seen in Stray. They can be found in both Dufer Bar and Midtown Bar, in the Super Spirit Laundry and in Momo's Apartment.
The Cat can interact with them by rolling them with his paw. They do not affect the gameplay, and are just needed for the cat to play with them.
There are two types of cat toys in the game. The first is the usual bell cat toys: orange and purple, green and red and white. Most likely, these are toys that Humans made for their pets, and the Companions found them later. The second type of toys are billiard balls that can be rolled on the table. You can roll only one ball with your paw, and it is impossible to interact with the others, you can only touch them by walking next to them, and even roll all the balls into the pockets.
Cat can roll toys with his paw in the Momo's Apartment and in bars, but he can't play with them in the Laundry.
