BlueTwelve Studio is a small game development team hailing from Montpellier, Occitanie, southern France. They are the developers of Stray. The studio was founded by Koola and Viv, and in the process of developing the game, it increased to 27-28 people (18 at the time of release).

Trivia[]
- Stray was inspired by the founders' cats Murtaugh and Riggs.[1]
- The studio is referred to in the game as existing in the Walled City 99 food company (as BlueTwelve studio or Blue Twelve) and robotics company (as B12 ROBOTICS), and B-12 is also named after it.
- Viv about the meaning of the studio name: "“Blue” is like the seven last digits of Pi and “Twelve” is like the twelve fingers of one hand of course!" [2]
