The Quadruped-Backpack is a black harness that Cat wears on its back. The backpack was designed specially for quadrupeds like Cat. The first time Cat wears it, it's uncomfortable and hinders his range of motion, but he quickly gets used to it. Inside the backpack is a special compartment for B-12, where he can recharge, as well as the technology to store digitized items.
There is a small screen on the backpack that displays certain pictures if the cat is next to an item or character that he can interact with.
If you collect every Memory, B-12 will gift you a multi-colored backpack in gratitude, that will then be displayed at all levels of the save in which it was received.
- Cat receives the backpack in Chapter 3: The Flat, when it can activate B-12.
- Cat receives a multi-color variant upon viewing B-12's final memory.
